The plot is really very ample. There were a series of wars and destruction and anarchy happened for 2000 years. To end the things, the demon king whose name is Anos made a deal with the hero of human. He talked about the sacrifice of the hero for the peace of their citizens, so the hero sacrificed his life. After 2000 years, the reincarnation happened and Anos saw that the demons were ruling over the lower people. Now he wants to get his own position of Demon King but he can only get it by getting a graduate from Demon King Academy.
The plot is really very interesting and has never been dealt with before by any films and series.
