Nowadays Indian cinema has changed a lot as it has got many platforms, ideas, and subjects to explore upon. Nowadays a web series are getting more popularity and praise than any of the films in India. And if we are talking about Indian Netflix originals then how can we forget about Sacred Games.
Sacred Games is the first-ever Indian Netflix Originals and has changed the scope of web series in India. It is a thriller, crime, mystery, and conspiracy drama. It has opened the doors for India in terms of we series when it got nominated for Emmy. This series is actually based upon a book of Vikram Chandra called Sacred Games (2006). It is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane and produced by Phantom Film. The series has released two seasons and after receiving so much of a good response, fans are waiting for season three.
The release date of Sacred Games Season 3
As we all know that it is Netflix Originals then it only streams of Netflix. It premiered on Netflix with 8 episodes and on 5 July 2018. After so much of demand regarding the second season, makers have decided for the renewal. The second season released on 15 August 2019 with 8 episodes. Fans are now in want of season three, but no news came from Netflix regarding season three. Due to the split in Phantom Film, we don’t know about season three. But if we will get it then it must be in 2021 as Coronavirus is spreading like hell in India.
The plot of Sacred Games Season three
This series is about crime and conspiracy. The main character, Inspector Sartaj Singh was getting continuous calls from Ganesh Gaitonde and he gave Sartaj only 25 days to save his city. In season two we have seen that Sartaj uncovers the existence of an ashram with whom his father was linked. He also got to know that Gaitonde is also a part of this aashram. The plot about season three is unknown.

The story needs the same characters because the ending of season two story was not that complete.
