After parts of Adelaide shivered through a recent cold snap this week, a local supermarket in Adelaide’s southern suburbs copped some serious damage on Friday night.

Part of a phone tower crashed through the roof of a supermarket in Adelaide’s Park Holme, forcing shoppers to evacuate.
The area surrounding the has been cordoned off as emergency crews work to remove the structure and secure the building.
Staff have been forced to turn shoppers away, as the supermarket will remain closed for the day while the damage is assessed.
